Since the Fall of 2019 an exciting partnership has been established with a group of students from Bishop’s university. The Alpha Phi sorority first hosted a karaoke event at the Drop in and, needless to say, it was a hit!
This has led to an ongoing collaboration in the new year. For the first 3 months of 2020, this amazing group of students has committed to one activity a month. January was another karaoke event, followed by an Art activity in February and for the final activity in March, they will animate a game night!
It has been a pleasure getting to know the girls of Alpha phi and witnessing the joy and fun they bring to each of the activities.
Plans are already on the table to pursue this amazing partnership next year! A special thanks goes out Bishop’s chapter of Best buddies who were instrumental in establishing this connection with their fellow students. Great team work!
