For more than 40 years, the Dixville Home Foundation (1974) has promoted the quality of life of children and adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Through its donations and fundraising, the Foundation responds to the needs of the bilingual community of the Estrie region (05) through its activities, projects and infrastructure. The Foundation serves more than 1400 users and manages several buildings that it owns.
THE NEEDS ARE GREAT TO HELP FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS. Following the integration of the CNDE Foundation, requests for funding increased from about 28 in 2015 to more than 100 requests for financial assistance in 2016-17.
THESE FAMILIES NEED THE FOUNDATION TO ASSIST THEM AND THE FOUNDATION NEEDS THE POPULATION TO SUPPORT THEM.
