LE VOL DU PHOENIX, PARTNERS WITH THE DIXVILLE FOUNDATION TO OFFERS MEMORABLE MOMENTS TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN THE EASTERN TOWNSHIPS
In order to provide memorable experiences to children and adults in the Eastern Townships living with health issues, passionate aviators are coming together to bring the Phoenix Flight to life.

This initiative aims to present special events during which they share their passion for aviation. As members of Les Faucheurs de marguerites, these kind-hearted aviators will present their first private event on June 7, 2023, at the Sherbrooke Airport. Eighty-three children and adults living with an intellectual disability (ID) or an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) will experience the fascinating world of aviation.

In addition to presenting this private event, the organizers are supporting the Dixville Foundation by launching a fundraising campaign to help people living with ID or ASD.

To support the mission of the Dixville Foundation, we invite the population of the Eastern Townships who, like us, wish to support this cause and contribute to this fundraising campaign which will run from May 24 to June 11. Partners who are mobilizing

We would like to acknowledge the special collaboration of the CIUSSS de l'Estrie - CHUS and to thank them for their precious help in the organization of the event with the children, adults and the participating families. Thanks also to the Lacosta communication agency for their support and backing of the cause.

‘Now, it is up to all of us to encourage this great cause by giving generously to the Dixville Foundation, which can take concrete action to improve the quality of life of our children, and adults’, mentions Claude Cyr.

We would like to thank all those who are sensitive to this cause and who support the initiatives of the Faucheurs des Marguerites, including this very first edition of the Phoenix Flight.

Daniel Fortier, President of the Dixville Foundation, expresses his deep gratitude to the Flight of the Phoenix organization for this extraordinary event. Mr. Fortier also appreciates the generosity of the partners and volunteers who contribute to the success of this special day dedicated to aviation. He underlines the importance of the association between the Dixville Foundation and this initiative to meet the needs of our clientele and invites the population of Eastern Townships to support this cause through the donation campaign.
